2025 KKDIK Official Registration Administrative Fee Increase Announced

          from CIRS by

On December 23, 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change (MoEUCC) officially issued an amendment to the KKDIK regulations, extending the registration deadline. Recently, the MoEUCC has increased the administrative fees required for KKDIK official registration for 2025. Previously in 2023 and 2024, Turkey also increased its administrative fee.

          Details are as follows:

          Administrative Fees (TRY) [Non-SME Companies]

            Individual Submission (TRY)Joint Submission (TRY)Increase
          1-10 t/a3550 → 51102700 → 389040%
          10-100 t/a8900 128106250 9000
          100-1000 t/a25000 3598018000 25910
          1000+ t/a 53700 7729043000 61890
          Intermediates3550 5110 2600 3740

Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) are eligible for administrative fee discounts, provided they submit the necessary documentation to qualify.

Since the MoEUCC began publishing administrative fees, there has been a significant annual increase, and this trend is expected to continue in the future.

It is important to note that although the registration deadline has been extended, the new registration timeframe appears ample. However, considering the time required for experimental work and data sharing with European data holders, the progress of official registrations in Turkey has been slow.

In light of this, CIRS Group advises all companies engaged in chemical trade with Turkey, especially those exporting high tonnages, to continuously monitor the progress of pre-registered substances in their substance information exchange forum (SIEF) to avoid missing registration opportunities.
