          from CIRS by

Taiwan EPA issued the revised "Regulation of New and Existing Chemical Substance Registration" (hereinafter referred to as "Regulation") on Nov 23rd, 2021. It is the second time that they revised the regulation, which took effective from the date of promulgation. One of the most important changes in the revised regulation is to extend the deadline for the registration of designated existing chemical substance in the first phase. After the revision, the registration period is 5 years regardless of the registration level. In addition, this revision also includes adjustments to valid period of new chemical substance registration and CBI protection, annual quantity declaration, scope of exempted substances, content description and attached tables.

This webinar intends to help enterprises understand the content of the revised regulation, clarify the relevant requirements of registration of the new chemical substances and the designated existing chemical substances in Taiwan. CIRS will provide professional regulatory interpretations and compliance suggestions to enterprises concerned about chemical substance management policies in Taiwan.
