          On September 11, 2023, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the approval results of the eleventh batch of simplified registrations for new chemical substances in 2023.
          In accordance with the Measures for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (hereinafter referred to as the “MEE Order 12”), China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) has approved a total of eight simplified registration applications for new chemical substances after review, and all these applications meet relevant requirements and are approved to conduct regular registrations.
          On August 3, 2023, China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the fifth batch of regular registration certificates for new chemical substances in 2023. In accordance with the Measures for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (hereinafter referred to as the “MEE Order 12”), the MEE approved a total of three regular registrations of new chemical substances after review, and all these applications meet relevant requirements and are approved to conduct regular registrations.
          On July 3, 2023, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the approval results of the fourth batch of regular registrations of new chemical substances in 2023. In accordance with the Measures for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order 12), THE MEE hereby released results after review.
          On July 7, 2023, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published approval results of the ninth batch of simplified registration of new chemical substances in 2023. In accordance with the Measures for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order 12), the MEE hereby published the results after review.
          On June 21, 2023, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) published the approval results of the eighth batch of simplified registrations of new chemical substances in 2023. In accordance with the Measures for Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order 12), the MEE hereby made the results public to be approved after review.
          On June 25, 2023, China Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) released the approval results of the 7th batch of simplified registrations of new chemical substances in 2023. In accordance with the Open Government Information Regulation of the People’s Republic of China (Order No. 711 of the State Council), the Ministry of Ecology and Environment hereby released the results in public
          On June 20, 2023, China Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) released the 3rd batch of regular registration certificates for environmental management registration of new chemical substances in 2023 in accordance with the Open Government Information Regulation of the People's Republic of China (Order No. 711).
          China's Ministry for Ecology and Environment (MEE) has approved its sixth batch of ten new simplified registrations for chemical substances in 2023. These were approved under the requirements of the Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order 12) after review.
          China’s chemical inventory of existing chemical substances is IECSC, which stands for the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances Produced or Imported in China (IECSC). There are two parts of IECSC, public part and classified/confidential part. Companies can check out the public part by themselves and shall only enquire Authorities for classified/confidential part. If substances are not listed in the public part, companies have to submit a formal enquiry to SCC to check whether a substance is listed in the confidential part. The enquiry costs 3000 RMB.
