On 1^st March, 2022, National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (NHC) approved nineteen new food contact substances (No. 1 of 2022), including 1 new food contact material and article, 6 new food contact additives, 9 food contact additives with expanded scope, 2 new food contact resins and 1 new disinfectant raw material.
