ECHA Announced that Completeness Check Period will be Extended from April, 2018

Enterprises submitting the registration dossier before the end of March can receive ECHA’s decision on completeness check within 21 days; however, if enterprises cannot submit their registration dossiers in March, then they may face an extended period for completeness check.

Due to the high number of registrations expected to arrive close to the 31 May 2018 Deadline, ECHA needs more time to process the completeness check. It may take until the end of August 2018 to receive a decision, if the dossiers are submitted from April onwards.

A lead registrant should submit the dossier early enough to allow time for the member registrants to submit their company-specific dossiers by the 31 May 2018 deadline.
