Chemical Inspection and Regulation Service Limited (CIRS) is to host the China and EU Chemical Regulation Workshop at InterContinental Nanjing Hotel on 18 April 2018 and Qingdao Shangri-la Hotel on 20 April 2018 respectively. Mr. Geert Dancet, former Executive Director of ECHA and experts from CIRS are invited to speak at the workshop. They will share their opinions from the perspective of REACH regulation and practical operations.

The last registration deadline under REACH is approaching

31 May 2018, the last deadline of EU REACH registration is approaching. To prevent trade interruptions, enterprises shall complete registration before this deadline. To help enterprises understand the new features of REACH registration in 2018 and to assist enterprises in regulatory compliance after REACH registration is completed, officials from ECHA and experts from CIRS will give a speech and provide answers in details.

Latest progress of the amended Guidance Documents for New Chemical Substance Notification in China

On 31 August 2017, China Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) announced to adjust the data requirements under the Guidance Documents for New Chemical Substance Notification. How will the amended guidance documents influence relevant enterprises? How can enterprises comply with the amended guidance documents? To solve these problems, experts from CIRS will speak at the Workshop to help enterprises better understand their obligations and give suggestions to them.

Speaker Introduction

	Mr. Geert Dancet Mr. Geert Dancet worked for the European Union from 1986. In January 2007, he was elected as interim Executive Director of ECHA and became Executive Director between 2008 and 2017. As former Executive Director of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), he have the necessary experience in advising authorities and companies on chemicals legislation and its relation to sustainability and competitiveness. He is now the secretary general of the Helsinki Chemicals Forum, a global conference on chemicals regulatory affairs.
	Mr. Eric Xiong Mr. Eric Xiong is the Manager of Chemical Regulatory Affairs Department, CIRS. He has over 10 years of experience in chemical registration in EU, China and Asia-Pacific as well as abundant experience in project management. Mr. Eric Xiong has provided suggestions on products regulatory compliance as well as solutions to over 100 Top 500 enterprises.
	Ms. Queenier Yang Ms. Queenier Yang is the Manager of Registration Center under Technical Center, CIRS. She has over 10 years of experience in REACH registration. She has been responsible for several LR registration programs. She keeps tracking the supervision conditions of REACH Regulation and maintains sound relationship with ECHA and other competent authorities. Ms. Queenier Yang is good at the data gap analysis and data fee negotiations.
	Mr. Gilbert Guo Mr. Gilbert Guo is the Deputy Manager of Chemical Regulatory Affairs Department. He has over 10 years of experience in global chemical regulatory compliance work. Mr. Gilbert is good at developing chemical regulatory compliance work based on the practical status of the enterprises. He has assisted hundreds of enterprises in completing REACH pre-registration and registration.
